Ingredients required:

    -350 g fresh mint (peppermint)
-200 ml. base oil (you can choose between almond oil or olive oil)
    -250 ml dark glass jar.

Method of preparation:

    1. To begin with, you should obtain a certain amount of peppermint. Pay attention to this part because it is not the usual green mint. You can use home-grown peppermint or buy one from the store. Once you have it, wash it well with cold water, leaf on leaf. This will remove any contamination, and this is important because you are going to apply it directly to the skin. It must be as clean as possible.
    2. The second step? You must wipe the mint leaves. Use a wooden hammer or spoon. Apply as much strength as you want during the procedure. The goal is to break the integrity of the leaves to extract their juice. You will feel the pleasant smell around you.
    3. Now it's time to step on the stove. You need a proper court. Pour 200 ml into it. of base oil. It is very important to set the heat on low heat. Then add the wrinkled sheets. Stir well. Cover the dish and leave the valuable properties of the peppermint to release into the butter. The whole process lasts 1/2 hour.
    4. Once the time has elapsed, turn off the hotplate and allow the mixture to rest. Take the glass jar. Strain the peppermint oil by removing all the leaves.
    5. Allow the oil to cool. Do not expose it to direct sunlight.
    6. Next step? Patience. You must let the mint oil stand for 10 days. This will help to develop its useful properties. Remember something important: during these 10 days you should turn the jar every 12 hours. This stimulates the mixing of ingredients.
    7. We want to note that some people prefer to make mint alcohol instead of peppermint oil. The latter is a bit more effective in treating muscle problems and rheumatism. If you want to make mint alcohol, you should mix the peppermint leaves with a bottle of alcohol, a 95% solution. Pour the mixture into a suitable container. Allow it to stand in a cool and dark place for 15-20 days. Once this time runs out, squeeze the mixture and keep the alcohol. Mint alcohol is an effective natural remedy that will help ease the pains in your muscles.
