Hair Mask and Hair Rince recipes



Hair loss is quiet common across the world as it affects several million men and women each year. Though there are expensive solutions, they may not be effective. Hence, people follow some home remedies such as a hair mask made from all natural ingredients that can help strengthen the hair and potentially stop any further hair loss. The ingredients required for these recipes can be found easily at a grocery store or in your kitchen. All of the home remedies contain general vitamins such as B complex, B2, B6, Vitamin C and E. that are essential for maintaining healthy hair growth.

Olive Oil Hair Mask

We should mix 5 tablespoon of olive oil with 2 eggs.  Apply thoroughly to hair component. Wrap your head with a shower cap. Wait for 15 minutes and then rinse well.

Banana Hair Mask

You must mash one ripe bananas in a medium sized bowl with a fork. Add 3 to 4 drops almond oil and 2 tablespoon of Indian gooseberry, or Amla powder. This powder can be purchased at health food stores and is rich in vitamin C, iron, calcium and antioxidants. Apply this banana mask on your hair for 30 minutes and rinse it well with lukewarm water.

Yogurt, Egg and Olive Oil Mask

Pour 6 tbsp. plain yogurt into a medium sized bowl. Add 3 tbsp. olive oil and 1 egg to the mixture. Mix the ingredients until they are well incorporated, and place the mask onto the scalp and hair. Cover the hair with a shower cap, and allow the mask to sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse the mask away with warm water. Shampoo and condition as usual.

Herbal Hair Rinse

Mix 1 Tbsp of following herbs and boil the water and let it stand for 1/2 an hour. Then add 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar and mix well. Shampoo your hair. Pour mixture over hair repeatedly. Vinegar will seal the hair cuticle. Herbs used are:

General Care: rosemary leaves, nettle, burdock root, elder flowers
Dry hair: chamomile flowers, comfrey root, nettle, elder flowers
Oily hair: lemon peel, peppermint, lemongrass


Apple Cider Hair Rinse

Make the rinse by mixing 1/3 cup of apple cider vinegar with 1 qt. of distilled water. Put the mixture in a plastic bottle and take it to bath. Shampoo hair and rinse well. Apply the apple cider vinegar rinse to your hair. Leave it on for a few seconds. Rinse your hair using cold water to seal the hair shaft and create more shine.
Ingredients: Apple Cider Vinegar, Tea Ball, Chamomile, Distilled Water, Rosemary, Mary gold, Lavender & Yucca.

Quick and Easy Broccoli Recipe
